About the Campaign

An Old Tradition
A Whole New Stage

This Cyber Security Awareness Month, the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) brings the timeless storytelling tradition of Kathputli to the digital age with the theme Be Cyber Street Smart.

Staying safe online is a shared, everyday responsibility. Through various Kathputli characters, this pan-India campaign brings cyber safety to life through familiar digital situations, covering digital payments, email and app security, social media safety and emerging AI-powered scams, with a special focus on cybercrime redressal.

Everything here is free, practical and built to be passed on. We invite individuals, partners, organisations and communities to join DSCI in carrying these simple cyber safety messages to wider audiences.

The Conversation Must Continue

Take the story beyond this stage

The show doesn't end when you close the tab, it travels as far as you carry it. Share a poster, post a lesson, send the campaign with someone who needs it. Every share turns one viewer into the next, and one more person into part of a growing community that chooses to pause, think and choose wisely.

Be a storyteller. Spread the word, tag us in your posts, and help make safer choices.
